The Tiger Den is for first graders who are ready to pounce into a little more independence—while still keeping things fun, active, and family-focused. Tigers begin learning the Cub Scout basics: doing their best, helping others, and trying new things.
At this age, first graders are at varying levels of independence, so they’ll still need your support. Each Tiger Scout has an adult partner (usually a parent or guardian) who attends every meeting and helps their Scout participate. Together, you’ll tackle hands-on adventures, simple service projects, outdoor fun, and basic skill-building.
It’s a great way to build confidence, strengthen family bonds, and grow those leadership skills—one hike, craft, or giggle at a time.
